+ Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
No. Physiotherapy is considered primary health care in Alberta, and therefore, a Doctor’s referral is not required. You may want to check with your insurance company before making an appointment to see if a Doctor’s referral is required to obtain coverage for any services under your individual plan.
+ Do you accept WCB and/or MVA claims?
Yes, we see patients covered through MVA claims. We do not see WCB patients at this time.
+ What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Please, no high heels, as these are not appropriate for balance assessments/treatments.
+ How many treatments will I require?
The number of treatments you will need is dependent on the specific condition we are treating. Once your physiotherapist has performed a thorough assessment, she will discuss your options and determine a personalized treatment plan at that time.
+ Is this service covered by Alberta Health Care and/or private insurance?
Unfortunately, our services are not covered by Alberta Health Services. Most private health care insurance companies will cover a portion, or, in some cases, all physiotherapy costs. We offer direct billing through most insurance companies, or an electronic receipt can be provided after each session and be used to submit to your insurance company. Please consult with your insurance provider prior to booking an appointment if you are unsure about the details of your coverage.
+ How long is an appointment?
Please expect to stay for up to one hour for your initial assessment. Follow-up treatment sessions are typically 30 minutes.
+ What is the cost of treatment?
The cost will depend on the type and duration of treatment. Please contact us for more information.
+ What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash and e-transfers.
+ How can I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment online through our website or by giving us a call.
